Problem Statement
A growing healthy snacks brand faced multiple challenges in scaling its Google Ads performance and driving consistent conversions. One of the major roadblocks was the high number of product disapprovals in Google Merchant Center due to policy violations, particularly under “Personal and Hardship Advertising.” These disapprovals severely limited product visibility, making it difficult to run successful shopping campaigns.
Beyond product disapprovals, the brand also faced difficulties in scaling its ad performance. The campaigns lacked proper structuring, leading to inefficient spending and underperformance, especially on generic and non-brand keywords. Despite running ads, the account was not generating the desired results, making it hard to justify increased ad spend. Without a well-optimized approach, the brand was unable to tap into new customer segments and drive sustainable growth.
Our Solution
To address the product disapprovals in Google Merchant Center, we implemented a supplemental feed that helped resolve all policy-related errors, ensuring that the brand’s products were approved and eligible for shopping ads. Additionally, we optimized product listings to make shopping ads more visually appealing and informative, improving CTR (Click-Through Rate) and driving higher engagement.
By ensuring compliance and enhancing product visibility, we maximized the brand’s presence on Google Shopping. For better ad performance and scalability, we restructured the campaigns strategically by leveraging different campaign types. This approach helped us target high-intent audiences effectively while minimizing wasted ad spend on branded searches.
